How We Work

The awards received by Parmigiano Reggiano Parma2064 – among which stands out a Supergold at the World Cheese Awards – are the result of commitment and passion. With a strong culture of quality, we aim to create a natural product that meets rigorous standards. The milk we use and process comes exclusively from our own farms, all family-run and located within a 10-kilometer radius of the dairy in Fidenza.

The cheesemakers coordinate the work of staff who faithfully follow the stages established by the Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese Protection Consortium, with the aim of maintaining a production chain without shortcuts. This allows us not only to obtain the best from a total herd of about 1,400 dairy cows, producing nearly 16 million liters of milk annually, but also to look towards new markets and take on important challenges. In fact, for several years now, we have expanded our consumer offerings by producing halal-certified Parmigiano Reggiano.

By integrating technological innovations with traditional production processes, and following strict certifications (BRC, Animal Welfare and ISO 22005), our method is considered a model of sustainability in the heart of the Parmigiano Reggiano PDO area.
