On the occasion of Open Dairies, Parma2064 organizes guided tours at the dairy in Fidenza (PR) to discover the secrets of Parmigiano Reggiano. A unique experience to enjoy: from the processing of milk to obtain the wheel to the aging warehouses, concluding with the tasting of an exceptional product. Come meet the cheesemakers, be captivated by an ancient art, and purchase cheese directly from the producer.
The dairy visit will take place on Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8 in six sessions:
8:30 – 9:45 – 11:00 – 14:30 – 15:30 – 16:30.
At 10:00 AM and 3:30 PM, you can also witness the spectacular wheel cutting.
The shop will be open continuously from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM on both days.
There will also be the opportunity to have lunch on-site with a picnic basket full of local products.
