“Primo” Parmigiano Reggiano PDO (Matured for 12 – 16 months)
Made using traditional methods and milk from our cows, this cheese is matured for a minimum of 12 months.
The “Primo” Parmigiano Reggiano is a light straw colour throughout and has a delicate yet flavoursome taste. Its characteristic aroma has notes of fresh milk, cream, vegetables and aromatic herbs. It is best accompanied by young wines that are not full bodied, even better by sparkling and rosé wines or blonde or Weisse beers.
Its delicate taste makes it versatile and delicious whether eaten on its own at a family meal, as a healthy and nutritious snack, at an aperitif with friends, combined with crudités, fresh fruit and citrus or fig conserves, or added to a salad as shavings.
