Classico – Parmigiano Reggiano PDO (matured for 18 – 24 months)
Made using milk from our cows, this cheese is matured naturally for a minimum of 24 months.
Straw-coloured, with a characteristic aroma and a well-balanced, flavoursome yet delicate flavour, its distinctive aroma has notes of milk with floral overtones, fresh and dry fruit fragrances, pastry notes and spice blends. It is best accompanied by sparkling red wines or medium-bodied red wines with a high alcohol content, but also by IPA-style beers.
Thanks to these characteristics, our PDO Parmigiano Reggiano is excellent enjoyed on its own as well as grated on pasta and rice dishes, or cut into shavings to perfectly complement and bring out the flavours of so many different dishes: from a classic pasta with tomato sauce to an aubergine parmigiana, from raw meat carpaccio to eggs with black truffle.
